Caracterização florística da Reserva Ambiental Nativa “Preciosa”, no município da Humpata, Angola

Resumo

O presente estudo realizou um levantamento florístico na Reserva Ambiental Nativa “Preciosa”, situada no Planalto da Humpata (2100 m de altitude, 200 ha). A área abrange três habitats principais: pastagens dominadas por gramíneas e herbáceas; mancha de miombo anão (Brachystegia sp.); e afloramentos rochosos com arbustos e subarbustos. Utilizando o método de parcelas (20 x 50 m), foram registadas 149 espécies, distribuídas por 112 géneros e 49 famílias. As famílias mais representativas foram Poaceae (24 espécies), Asteraceae (18), Rubiaceae (17), Fabaceae (15) e Lamiaceae (7). Do total, 90,6% das espécies foram identificadas até ao nível de género, 70,8% até à espécie, e 2,7% permaneceram indeterminadas. Foram ainda registadas 15 espécies endémicas, destacando a relevância da reserva para a conservação da flora local. Os resultados ampliam o conhecimento botânico da região e fornecem subsídios para estratégias de gestão e conservação da biodiversidade do Planalto da Humpata.
