Academic genres and scientific writing workshops at university

Abstract

This experience report was constructed through the development of the extension practice proposed in the project "Workshops on academic genres and scientific writing at the university". The focus was to guide course participants in the development of course completion work and the production of experience reports, following ABNT standards. The organizing team had the participation of a teacher, an academic scholarship holder from the Unitins Institutional Initiation to Extension Scholarship Program (PIBIEX) from the Law course and an administrative employee. Carried out remotely in synchronous meetings through Google Meet, the extension project, configured as an office, aimed at the target audience made up of the external community, such as teachers and students from other universities, academics and employees of UNITINS, Dianópolis campus. Quantitative and qualitative results provide essential knowledge that guides studies and the production of course completion works, such as articles and experience reports.
