Abstract

In this issue we invite all readers to reflect deeply and critically
on the development of education in Angola, whose history has a significant impact on today's reality.

depends on the formation of citizens who are aware, critical and prepared to face the
challenges of the 21st century. Although the Angolan education system has achieved
notable progress in recent decades, with an increase in the number of places available and an

that deserve attention in order to improve the quality of teaching and hinder access to
education of excellence.

Author Biographies

Marta Santos Vieira, Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias Ekuikui II, Huambo-Angola

PhD in Communication Sciences/Political Communication; Master in African Studies; Degree in Political Science. Collaborating Researcher at CeieD/Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa. Advisor to the Administration in the area of International Projects, at the Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa (Portugal) and at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias Ekuikui II, in Huambo (Angola). She has worked in the sector for almost thirty years, in roles ranging from school management and scientific-pedagogical consultancy to general coordinator of the Self-Evaluation, External Evaluation and Accreditation Process. She is Editor-in-Chief of the Revista de Estudos Multidisciplinares do Planalto Central - REME.

Adelino Armando Sanjombe, Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias Ekuikui II, Huambo-Angola

PhD in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, England. Master in Clinical Psychopedagogy. Assistant Professor of Clinical and Forensic Psychological Assessment Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias Ekuikui II, Huambo-Angola.

Josemar Agnaldo de Nascimento Vitorino, Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias Ekuikui II, Huambo-Angola

Veterinarian from the José Eduardo dos Santos University (UJES) 2008 - 2012. Master's and PhD in Veterinary Medicine (2016 to 2022), specializing in Epidemiology and Quality Control of Animal Products from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Minas Gerais, Brazil. He has experience in the use and management of laboratory animals, Preventive Veterinary Medicine/Public Health, with an emphasis on health inspection, epidemiology and diagnosis of zoonotic diseases.
