Abstract

This article discusses primary school teachers' perception of gender stereotypes. The aim of this research is to present primary school teachers' perceptions of gender stereotypes in the classroom. The methodological approach was implemented in school Escola 11 de November, n.º 315, in Bengo Province, where three primary school teachers were interviewed. Through these interviews, the research sought to understand how teachers perceive and respond to gender stereotypes in the classroom, which functions as a micro-society that shapes students for the broader society. In this context, teachers must carefully observe students' behavior, recognizing the causes or stimuli that lead them to think and act.
